• “Backend Server” refers to our backend service that processes user context and queries, including sending them to the Google Gemini language model.

• Chrome Extension: When you use the Extension, it may capture the text from open tabs or emails only as you explicitly request (e.g., for summarizing or searching). That text may be sent ephemerally to our Backend Server for processing with Google’s Gemini LLM. Unless you choose to sign in or save data, we do not permanently store your textual content.

2. Backend Server & Gemini

• Context & Queries: Our Backend Server receives your query or context from the Extension/App, then sends it to Google’s Gemini model to provide AI-driven results.
• Ephemeral Handling: We typically do not store your textual content or query data permanently on our servers, unless you choose to save it (e.g., for further reference or via your account).
• Third-Party LLM: By using our AI features, you acknowledge that your queries/content may be processed by Gemini, subject to Google’s data handling policies.

3. Information You Provide by Registering an Account

• When creating an account on app.navtabs.com, we collect your email and other user information via Google Authentication flow. This allows you to access saved searches or personalized features.

4. Children’s Privacy

• Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we’ve inadvertently collected such data, contact us at hello@notelink.co so we can delete it promptly.

II. HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
